After being
fired of Skid Row in 1996, Sebastian's first work was in 1997 with the
band Last Hard Men. The band had on It's line-up the musicians Jimmy
Flemion,
Kelley Deal e
Jimmy Chamberlin. An
album was recorded, however, Atlantic Records called off its release.
The album was released four years later by Nice Records, label whose
owner was Kelley Deal.
In 1998 he formed the group Sebastian Bach & Friends
which had as musicians Richie Scarlet e Jimmy Flemion on guitars, Larry
on the bass and Mark "Bam Bam" McConnel on the drums. The band made
several shows in the US and Japan between 1998 and the year 2000.
In 1999 the band released the album Bring' em Bach
Alive. The track list included 5 new songs and a live concert recorded
in Japan in 1998.
In the year 2000 he started a career on Broadway as the
star for one season of the play Jekyll & Hyde. His acting has led him to
star other 2 plays on Broadway: Rock Horror Show in 2001 and Jesus
Christ Superstar in 2002.
In 2003, Sebastian started a career on TV. He had his
own show on VH1 channel called Forever Wild. He was also invited to
shoot a guest star appearance on Warner's Gilmore Girls show. The
producers were very pleased with his acting, and Sebastian ended up
having a role on the show as the aging guitarist, Gil.
In 2003, Sebastian Bach wanted to start a new band. He
decided to do something different by making and an announcement on his
website recruiting musicians from all over US. The candidates should
send to Baz demo tapes with their skills and live performances for
analysis.
After watching hundreds of tapes, Sebastian at last chose Randall X
Rawlings and Adam Albright to play the guitars and Cheeze to be the
bassist. Sebastian Bach & Friends drummer Bam Bam McConnel remained on
the band that would be called Bach Tight 5. Some demos have been
recorded but the project did not work out. Some time later, Sebastian
dismissed all members and started another band composed of former
members of the bands Iced Earth, Testament and Rob Halford.
In 2005, Sebastian was invited by the musician Henning
Pauly to join him on the project Frameshift 2: An Absence of Empathy.
Sebastian recorded the vocals of every song on the album that was
released in April of that year. After the project's release, Sebastian
claimed being fooled by Henning Pauly regarding songwriting credits.
Sebastian claims that he composed some songs along with Henning,
however, his name was not included in the credits.
In the same year, Sebastian and his band went on a world tour, which
included two shows in Brazil in November.
In 2006 the band embarked on a successful tour opening
up shows for the reformed Guns n' Roses in Europe, US and Canada.
Sebastian hit the stage several times with Axl Rose on a duet singing
Guns n’ Roses classic My Michelle.
After the end of the tour in 2007, Sebastian went back
to the studio to finish the recording of his long-awaited solo album,
Angel Down that was released on November 20th of that year.
The album had three songs featuring Axl Rose on the vocals.
In 2008, Sebastian made some concerts through USA to
promote his album and also appeared on some reality shows on american
TV. He was the winner of the second edition of the show Gone Country,
program in which many celebrities from many branches of entertainment
performed weekly singing country songs. As a prize for the first place,
Sebastian recorded a country single, Battle With The Bottle, and also a
Videoclip directed by the renowned director Wayne Isham.
